The beauty of a rose--especially of a rose that comes with these types
of instructions:

Very stable and unfazed by heat (and apparently snow too because it
made it through our coldest days). Easy to grow, does not need special
care.

That's my kind of plant! Thanks Greg and Julie for the beautiful Pink
Double Knock Out rose bush. It is the only plant growing at our house
that has some color and is actually worth looking at.

On Sunday we went to Chuck E. Cheese, and, of course, we were there
the minute it opened. And for all of you who are curious as to what
time tha was, it was at 9 a.m. I love it that it opens that early
because nobody else showed up for at least 45 minutes!

The kids had a great time. They were so excited on Saturday night when
we told them--I thought Suzanne was going to cry. Anthony told us that
he was so excited that he couldn't get to sleep.

Can anyone find the "typo" in the picture of the front of the truck?

Then we went to Smashburger (yum).

It was such a glorious day that when we got home we took out the
inflatable bouncer for the kids. They enjoy the bouncer, especially
letting all of the air out and then sitting in the middle of it and
letting it fill back up with air. Ethan was not so impressed with it.

On Saturday, Andrew, Steph, Andy, and I went to Danton's seafood
restaurant to have dinner together. We enjoyed a little wine, some
delicious seafood, and great (adult) conversation. It was good to see
them and to catch up on their life. Thanks to Granny and Pa for
keeping the kids.

He sure is cute!

RIP Steathy Nemo Y - Anthony's beloved Oyster Creek minnow.

One minute he was a happy, active minnow and the next minute he is
belly-up. Now Anthony wants a goldfish...

Some of the neighborhood kids came over to play. Ahhhh, a slice of
Americana--I love it!

Andy had to bring his car in to get the brakes repaired, so their gave
him a fancy Impala to drive. Woo-hoo! Needless to say, the kids loved
the new car, but Andy couldn't wait to get his Accord back.

The first graders went to the Natural Museum of Science as their field
trip. I went along to chaperone. It was a good thing that I only had
two kids to look after. We saw "Bugs," a 3D Imax movie. It was really
good. Then we ran through the main exhibits. We ate outside for lunch
and then we came home. It was a beautiful day!
